Meet Dr. Pitt
Dr. Charles C. Pitt was born and raised in Timonium, Maryland. Raised by a single parent, his mother’s sense of values and commitment to family deeply shaped his life. Boy Scouts, was also an integral part of his youth and high school years.
Dr. Pitt graduated, in 1972 from Elizabethtown College, receiving his BS in Business with a focus on computers and accounting. Dr. Pitt graduated from Temple School of Dental Medicine in 1976. During his graduate work he was elected into: The St. Georges Oral Cancer society, Oral surgery Honor Society and was president of his professional fraternity Xi PSI PHI.
Dr. Pitt has been a full time practitioner for 36 years in Lancaster and New Holland, with a focus on reconstructive dentistry and dental implants. Dr. Pitt’s greatest passion is serving his patients with the highest quality and most leading edge dental care, in a warm and caring environment. Meeting the individual needs of each of his patients, has spurred his commitment and enthusiasm for continuing education.

Dr. Pitt’s passion for reconstructive dentistry spawned his interest in dental implants. He has been offering his patients a higher quality of life through the technology of dental implants, for 25 years. Dr. Pitt was first in Lancaster County, to restore a Zygomatic implant and offer “Tooth In A Day” restoration.
Dr. Pitt says, “When it comes down to it, it is just really about one thing, “The improved quality of life I can offer my patients with this wonderful technology.” Dr. Pitt knows working with an outstanding dental team, is the key to delivering excellent dental care to his patients. He has been an advocate for the importance of the “dental team”, since beginning his practice, in 1976.

Dr. Pitt married his wife Marla in 1976. Marla, a dental hygienist, later pursued Seminary studies and was ordained in 2003. Their daughter Alisa is a graduate of Towson University and a member and instructor for the National Ski Patrol. Alisa, owner of Equestrian Solutions Wellness Associates is National Board Certified in Equine Sports Massage and a Certifed Master Saddler, offering Equine Bodywork and Wellness services in PA and MD. Dr. Pitt enjoys skiing, and he and his wife work on the Mountain Safety Patrol at Ski Liberty with their daughter, who works on the Liberty Mountain Ski Patrol. Dr. Pitt is a certifed Sporting Clay Instructor and enjoys sportings clays when he is not on the slopes. Dr. Pitt enjoys many outdoor passions, biking, fishing, camping, kayaking and sailing, but skiing is still the family obsession! When the snow falls the Pitt Family goes Skiing!
